Bill Phipps, Earth Urbanist
The Very Reverend Dr. Bill Phipps is an outspoken activist in Calgary and throughout Canada. He is in demand as a speaker, workshop leader and writer. These days you may find Bill preaching in Calgary, marrying a couple in Newfoundland, tying the knot for a couple in Ontario or speaking and conducting workshops at public events.
Or, as 2012 begins, Bill will be in the Philippines on an exposure tour of Canadian mining practices. Called the "Beaconsfield Initiative," this trip is organized by the Reverend Shawn Fryday, minister of Beaconsfield United Church in Montreal. A member of the travelling team will post blogs here:
